Terms of Use – Empose

These terms apply to the iOS app Empose ("the App") provided by OptiFlow. They supplement Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which governs your use of the App. How we process your data is described in the Privacy Policy – Empose.

1. Empose Premium

• Empose Premium is an auto-renewing subscription sold through the Apple App Store. Price, duration and any trial period are shown in the App before purchase.
• The subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can cancel at any time in your Apple ID settings.
• Payment, billing and refunds are handled by Apple under its terms.

2. AI Credits

AI features of the App — Looks, Styling and mannequin poses (My Poses) — use AI credits.

• Weekly credits: with an active Empose Premium subscription you receive a weekly allowance of credits (during a free trial, one allowance for the whole trial). Unused weekly credits do not carry over to the next week.
• Credit packs: you can buy additional credits as one-time in-app purchases (consumables) through the Apple App Store. Purchased credits do not expire. Your weekly credits are always used first.
• Use requires Premium: credits, including purchased ones, can only be used while you have an active Empose Premium subscription. If your subscription ends, purchased credits stay in your account and can be used again once you subscribe again.
• Costs: how many credits a feature uses is shown in the App before you use it. We may change the weekly allowance and the credits a feature uses; changes apply to future use only and never reduce credits you have already bought.
• A failed generation uses no credits. Credits are only used when a result is delivered.
• Your account: credits are tied to your anonymous app user ID (shown in the App's Settings). They have no cash value, cannot be transferred or exchanged for money, and are not redeemable outside the App, except where the law requires otherwise.
• Refunds: refunds of in-app purchases are handled by Apple. If Apple refunds a credit pack, the corresponding credits may be removed from your balance.
• Discontinuation: if we discontinue the AI features of the App, we will announce this in the App in good time so that purchased credits can still be used.

3. AI-Generated Images

• Results are created by generative AI and can differ from what you expect. We do not guarantee a particular result.
• Only use photos you have the right to use. Do not upload photos of other people without their consent.
• Do not use the App to create content that is unlawful, harmful, sexual, deceptive or that infringes the rights of others. Requests that our AI provider's safety systems block are not carried out and use no credits.
• You may use your results for personal purposes. Generated images are marked in the App as created with AI.

4. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms when the App's features change. The current version is always available on this page; we will announce material changes in the App.
